Luca Schnitzeler
Chairman
BSc Psychology
MSc Social and Behavioral Sciences (Social Psychology)
Hi everyone! My name is Luca. I am doing a Research Master's in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I am doing a board year at Stimulus because I would like to give back to TSB by improving its educational quality.
I advocate improving education. No one should face educational disadvantages due to circumstances outside their control. Every TSB student regardless of their student association, cultural background, or political preference has a shared goal: we all study here to obtain an education. Therefore, as an educational institution, Tilburg University should make as many accommodations as possible to foster this goal.
Why I stand with Stimulus. I understand that everyone differs from each other and that these differences must be accommodated in education for equal educational opportunities, no matter how large or small these differences may be. This is why I chose to do a board year at Stimulus, because Stimulus represents all TSB students.
Joshua van Bokhoven
Vice Chairman & Educational Resource Coordinator
BSc Psychology
Hello! ;] My name is Joshua, am 23 years old, and currently a third year psychology student. I am doing the ‘Psychological Methods and Data Analysis’ major.
I am currently within the Educational Committee of the Bachelor Psychology. Next year, I will do a board year at Stimulus! I decided to do a board year at Stimulus, so I can help my peers better. While doing a board year, I have more options and opportunities to address comments and complaints from my fellow students.
My focus points will be student well-being and mental health. Stimulus is currently working on a big structural project to increase student mental health, called @ease. This is a collaboration between other student parties and external parties, such as the municipality of Tilburg and GGD HvB Tilburg.
Gabriela Mazur
External Relations Coordinator
BSc Psychology
Hi, my name is Gabi, and I am a third year Bachelor Psychology student. I am a bookworm that also surprisingly enjoys playing various sports, despite usually being terrible at them. I also enjoy listening to music, sometimes on its own and sometimes while doing something more creative like drawing or writing.
I wanted to become a member for Stimulus because I feel like it can be a great opportunity for me to learn new skills while also doing something useful for the student community.
My focus points that I would want to achieve during my time in the council are, firstly, bring the possibility of open book exams into the daily light for more courses (outside the SPPS exams).
Secondly, I also want to improve the situation of early morning and late evening lectures, perhaps by making it possible to follow them also online outside the campus.
